Bourque Places Seventh At USA Junior National Championship

Click here for full results COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Rhode Island freshman Crystal Bourque placed seventh in the hammer throw at the 2008 USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championship, held the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of the Ohio State University. Bourque registered a mark of 170-05 (51.94m) - just 11 inches short of the Rhode Island freshman record. It was her best performance of the 2008 season and fifth-best on URI's all-time hammer list.
